Our church didn't begin in a building. It began in a collapse — and in the grace that showed up in the middle of it. We're a family of people who got dug out. So now we go dig.
Why you're here
You know the hum.
That low, persistent frequency underneath everything that says this isn't quite it. A life that works on paper and a quiet suspicion on the inside that something is still missing.
Here's what we believe: the hum is not a malfunction. It's a signal.
You weren't an accident. You were made — on purpose, by a God who had something specific in mind — and the hum is the memory of what you were made for.
And here's the part most people never get told: He isn't waiting for you to clean up before He comes for you. He's already on the way. That's not religion. That's grace, and it's the only thing we have to offer anybody.
Our church started in the rubble.
Before there was a church, there was a collapse.
Sheldon Mickelson built a waste management company from the ground up — and then watched the whole thing come apart. An FBI investigation. A business on the brink. A family staring down the end of everything they'd built.
That's where grace found them.
What happened next — the wreckage, the fear, the fight, the redemption — is a book Sheldon and Annette wrote called Beneath the Rubble: A True Story of Survival and Redemption.
It isn't our curriculum. It's our origin story.
And it's why we say what we say, and why we say it to anybody who'll listen: there is no pile of rubble God cannot get underneath. Not a business. Not a marriage. Not a record. Not you.
